This park doesn't offer much and was a disappointment to us. The grounds are weedy and level gravel pads are about as close together as you can get. Or maybe it was the soaring temps. Site 43 was big enough for a large bell tent and 8 man tent plus 2 trucks, and there was nothing better than waking up to the sound of rushing water. If this campground had showers it would be 5 stars! Public Campgrounds | The state park itself is fantastic for wildlife viewing, boating, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Proper safe food storage is recommended. When most folks think of the ideal High Sierra fishery they usually picture a place like Robinson Creek.
