The only advantage it would have is more poise damage because the Furysword's heavy attacks are actually very powerful and practical unlike the Falchion's. Just did it on like the 4th attempt, without even having to worry much about rolling or being defensive, just strapped the Grass Crest Shield on my back for the extra stamina recovery. Kalkara. Whew. DS2 was definetly the easier of the two.
